Stuck between two heavens,
in a limbo
Don't know where to turn
to avoid Your gaze
That's chasing me
like an eagle chases it's prey
The chasm between two heavens
is deepening every moment
And me tied to each end
of the heaven
To choose between Heaven and Hell is easy
but to choose between two Heavens is nigh impossible
Rather than choosing one heaven
or the other
I choose to leave both
and fall back to the earth

My Guardian Angel
Chosen by destiny
to watch over me
Watching yet allowing
my free will to express itself
Guiding yet not interfering
in my soul's choices
You are my guardian angel
I long to meet
Please show yourself to me,
my guardian angel
I wish to connect with you
in the visible realm
Please dispell my doubts
and lay to rest the confusion
wrought my my flickering mind
to watch over me
Watching yet allowing
my free will to express itself
Guiding yet not interfering
in my soul's choices
You are my guardian angel
I long to meet
Please show yourself to me,
my guardian angel
I wish to connect with you
in the visible realm
Please dispell my doubts
and lay to rest the confusion
wrought my my flickering mind

The Infinite Spiral
The ever expanding universe beckons us
to grow and expand beyond ourselves
To never stop growing
...is to be natural
This train has no destination
but only the journey
The vehicle never tires
to carry the burden
Till it is crushed,
by self defeating thoughts
Limitless power abounds within us
and unfathomable serenity
To grow is our only dharma,
grow into a higher
and yet higher dimension
to grow and expand beyond ourselves
To never stop growing
...is to be natural
This train has no destination
but only the journey
The vehicle never tires
to carry the burden
Till it is crushed,
by self defeating thoughts
Limitless power abounds within us
and unfathomable serenity
To grow is our only dharma,
grow into a higher
and yet higher dimension

Anger and rage
Angst and rage rises inside me
at those who betray others
Trust is a sacred thing
torn asunder by infidels
When anger turns to rage,
it burns those who come in it's way
Only an ocean of love
can pacify the rage
I have a bounty of love inside
to temper my rage
I vow today
to trust no one but God
The God inside me
and in everyone
at those who betray others
Trust is a sacred thing
torn asunder by infidels
When anger turns to rage,
it burns those who come in it's way
Only an ocean of love
can pacify the rage
I have a bounty of love inside
to temper my rage
I vow today
to trust no one but God
The God inside me
and in everyone

Those who don't understand
Those who don't understand brotherhood
kill to expand their territories
Those who don't understand happiness
know only to cause misery to others
Those who don't understand healing
know only to abuse their bodies
Those who don't understand empathy
know only to cause suffering in others
Those who don't understand God's love,
try to steal it from others
Those who don't understand compassion,
hurt others to no end
Those who don't understand abundance
know only to steal from others to sustain themselves
O Lord, bless us all with the understanding
of your mighty nature, and ours. Amen!

The daffodil and the sunflower
The daffodils don't depend upon the Sun to bloom.
the sunflower does
But the daffodil cannot match
the devotion of the sunflower to the Sun
It brims with joy upon seeing the Sun
turning it's way and prostrating to it
the sunflower does
But the daffodil cannot match
the devotion of the sunflower to the Sun
It brims with joy upon seeing the Sun
turning it's way and prostrating to it
The footprints
On the sands of time,
I saw some footprints
Small, faded and smudged
yet their print was deep
When I put my foot on those footprints
they did not match
I had outgrown the footprints
I saw some footprints
Small, faded and smudged
yet their print was deep
When I put my foot on those footprints
they did not match
I had outgrown the footprints
