Unlock the mysteries

A man bereft of his esteem,
aspires for nothing, hopes for nothing
Nothing moves him
or causes a stir
A woman devoid of respect
cannot gain it from others
Love is the bridge which man needs to cross to reach the woman
Yet the same bridge beckons the woman
for she needs to reach the man
When the two ends hold together
the bridge lasts centuries
If fear and doubt shake the bridge,
it collapses on it's own weight
Fear not but the Lord
and hate none, not even yourself
The mystery is hidden beneath the surface
but you need a shovel and not your bare hands
Dig deeper and you will find the answers
to the torment that your soul endures
It suffers not in vain
for there is a lesson indeed
In the suffering you chose
before you were born
The choice is still yours -
continue to suffer or unlock the mysteries
